#HeyDrHood! I’m not really into social media like that. Plus, I don’t feel like I have much to say. Seems like a huge waste of time right now that I don’t have. What are your thoughts?
Well, it can be if you’re mainly using it to share videos from WorldStar or quietly spy on your significant other. Think about this–there has never been a more advantageous time in the history of the world to build a platform and use it to establish yourself as a thought leader in your field. It’s never been easier, cheaper, faster or more effective than it is right now. Social media makes that possible. Your job is to get clear about who you are, what you care about and then start sharing. However, if you’re unclear about who you are and/or what you’re passionate about, then you should take some time and start figuring that out because ultimately that lack of clarity will hinder your personal and professional growth. The world needs your ideas, your passion and your influence. Share it with them.
