I have spent the last 20 years of my career working as an engineer, entrepreneur, professor and advocate for underrepresented communities. In these roles, I estimate I have answered thousands of questions and given numerous bits of advice about topics ranging from professional development, to collaboration, to business modeling, to neighborhood revitalization and everything in-between.
I’ve decided that it makes little sense for me to offer help exclusively to only one person when there are likely others who could benefit from that same response. Consequently, I’m launching #HeyDrHood!, a digital media platform that will house not only my Q&As, but also archives of my keynote addresses, lectures, interviews, podcast episodes, moderated panels, and published articles. My hope is to create a self-service archive of my content which will allow people to quickly search for and find material to meet their need for education, inspiration and occasionally entertainment.
